Panes: terminal, files, browser & more

The buttons in the top-right corner open panes next to the chat. Each chat keeps its own panes, so switching chats switches your workspace too.

Pane	Shortcut	What it's for
Terminal	⌘J	A real shell in the chat's folder.
Files	⌘E	Browse and preview files; drag them into the chat.
Browser	⌘B	A built-in browser the agent can read and control.
Plan	⇧⌘P	The agent's checklist while it works.
Changes	⇧⌘D	Every file the chat changed, with diffs.
Git	⇧⌘G	Status, diffs, stage, commit, push and branches.
Devices	⇧⌘Y	iOS Simulators and Android emulators.
Context	⇧⌘I	What's filling the model's context window.

Drag pane edges to resize, and press ⇧⌘Return to maximise the focused pane. The Layout menu has presets, and Close all panes.

Background work

Dev servers and watchers the agent starts keep running in the background. The Background tasks button in the top-right lists running agents, servers and downloads. If you switch to another chat, a running agent keeps working.
